About The Position

This role is for a Process Operator Line Support for Lines 400/405 at McKee Foods, a family bakery since 1934. The primary function is to support the Line 400 Unassigned Crew in producing Little Debbie Cosmic products, especially during seasonal demand. Employees hired into these positions will remain employed after the holiday season and will continue to have a role within operations, returning to their Line 400 Unassigned Crew roles to support production needs across the facility as business demands require. Team members may be assigned to different production lines based on operational needs, and will be considered for permanent openings as they become available. A Process Line Support's primary role is to receive training and become proficient in specific rated positions as assigned by their direct supervisor. Additionally, the Process Operator Line Support must be capable of performing entry-level tasks such as catching, monitoring, palletizing, make-up and/or wrapper room utility, along with other duties as needed. This role also involves filling in for absentees, providing training, and assisting other team members when required.

Responsibilities

  • Set-up, adjust, and maintain processing equipment for production run
  • Perform required changeovers for product
  • Enter OPM11i data timely and accurately
  • Troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments to processing equipment
  • Disassemble/assemble and clean equipment in the entire business unit for a full shift or more
  • Clean and perform other duties in the entire business unit as needed
  • Receive training and become proficient in specific rated positions
  • Perform entry-level tasks such as catching, monitoring, palletizing, make-up and/or wrapper room utility
  • Fill in for absentees
  • Provide training
  • Assist other team members
