About The Position

Set up and operate mix tanks, thin tanks, storage tanks, hockmeyer, process pumps, filters and other equipment used to formulate finished products and base resins utilizing the DCS and manual operations as required. Access tank wagon hatches. Load/fill tank trucks, tank cars, drums, totes, and other containers as necessary. Perform housekeeping duties per expectations. Perform facility inspections (Rounds) as needed or instructed. Possess the ability or can obtain an understanding of the operation of various computer control systems like, Delta V, QuBE, PS2 and Email. Generate batch tickets and record operational data as required utilizing a computer to manipulate programs. Meet or exceed safety, quality, and cycle time expectations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. throughout the workday.
• Possess basic reading, math and computer skills.
• Must be able to operate all processing equipment required to perform duties in a safe, effective, and efficient manner, including forklifts.
• Must be able to handle hazardous materials safely.
• Must be able to don a respirator when needed.
• Must be able to endure continuous walking throughout the workday.
• Understanding of computer control systems like, Delta V, QuBE, PS2 and Email.
