This role involves enforcing compliance with quality standards such as AS9100D/ISO9001, managing non-conformance tracking and analysis, and leading compliance reviews. The technician will perform FMEA and RCCA for non-conforming products/processes, create and audit work instructions, and audit personnel for adherence to documentation. A key aspect is communicating between engineering and technicians to foster understanding within multi-disciplinary teams. The role also includes auditing processes for improvement through tooling and inspection point implementation, understanding designs, and planning layouts for material-processing/manufacturing operations. Interaction with the ERP team is required to support planning and execution of manufacturing processes in compliance with quality standards and contract requirements. The technician will design and acquire processing equipment, demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills in process engineering and machine troubleshooting, and perform process development based on contract requirements and Technical Data Package. Ensuring timely and accurate submission of reports/deliverables, performing routine technical tasks, developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality, supporting root-cause analysis, and identifying cost-reduction opportunities through lean principles are also key responsibilities.
