About The Position

The Process Manager strengthens the Engineering & Construction (E&C) organization’s operational excellence in a cross-functional specialist role. The position establishes and maintains project delivery processes, supports global QA/QC programs for owner-supplied major equipment manufacturing, and serves as the primary interface between the U.S. E&C team and Repsol’s Technical Optimization Team in Madrid. It helps ensure projects are delivered efficiently, consistently, safely, and in alignment with Repsol’s global technical standards, lessons learned, and continuous-improvement objectives. The role is based in Downtown Houston with a hybrid work model: three days in the office and two days from home. It supports standardized project processes across the E&C project lifecycle, QA/QC of major equipment suppliers, and coordination of technical standards and best practices between the U.S. organization and Repsol’s global team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in engineering, construction, project services, QA/QC, or process development.
  • Experience working within global, multidisciplinary organizations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in renewable energy (solar, wind, or storage) or large-scale infrastructure is preferred.
  • Experience with PV equipment manufacturing QA/QC is a strong advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or professional certifications such as PMP, ISO lead auditor, or CMQ/OE are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain standardized procedures, workflows, templates, and governance tools supporting the E&C project lifecycle from development handover through execution and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering & Construction, Procurement, Risk, and HSE teams to embed processes in daily project execution.
  • Support rollout of project management frameworks, including stage-gate governance, change management, document control, and reporting standards.
  • Lead or support continuous-improvement initiatives, including post-project reviews and integration of lessons learned across projects.
  • Ensure E&C processes align with Repsol corporate standards and compliance requirements.
  • Support development and execution of QA/QC strategies for major equipment suppliers, including PV modules, inverters, trackers, transformers, switchgear, and associated equipment.
  • Work with engineering teams to define inspection and test plans (ITPs), factory acceptance test (FAT) procedures, and manufacturing quality requirements.
  • Coordinate third-party inspectors, EPC partners, and OEMs to monitor factory audits, in-process inspections, FAT/IFAT activities, and nonconformance/corrective action (NCR/CAR) tracking and closure.
  • Support evaluation and qualification of key vendors, ensuring traceability, documentation, and conformity to Repsol technical standards.
  • Assist with data collection and QA analytics to identify recurring equipment-manufacturing quality issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the U.S. E&C organization and Repsol’s Technical Optimization Team in Madrid.
  • Communicate U.S. project needs, technical challenges, and lessons learned to the global team.
  • Drive adoption of engineering standards, technical updates, approved technology lists, and design optimizations in U.S. project scopes.
  • Coordinate technical reviews, design benchmarking, and cross-market best-practice exchanges.
  • Support harmonization of North American project execution approaches with Repsol’s global technical roadmap and innovation initiatives where beneficial.
