About The Position
Mining Americas Inc. is seeking a motivated Process Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team at Pan Mine, an open-pit heap leach gold operation located outside of Ely, Nevada. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the equipment that keeps our mine operations operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Nice To Haves
- Three or more years of industrial or mining maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Experience with pumps, conveyors, crushers, piping systems, gearboxes, valves, and rotating equipment
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Basic hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting knowledge
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical manuals
Responsibilities
- Follow all MSHA regulations, company safety standards, and environmental requirements
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on fixed process plant equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures to minimize downtime
- Maintain crushers, conveyors, pumps, piping, ADR equipment, carbon handling systems, and water distribution systems
- Install and replace bearings, shafts, seals, belts, chains, gearboxes, couplings, motors, and other rotating equipment
- Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, rigging, and equipment change-outs
- Complete work orders and maintenance documentation using the CMMS
- Assist with plant shutdowns, inspections, and reliability improvement projects
- Work closely with operations to safely maintain efficient gold production
