About The Position

This position will train on a day shift (Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM) and then transition to the graveyard shift. As a Process Machine Operator at Romac Industries, you will learn a trade through on-the-job training in a stable, structured work environment with a set schedule, clear priorities, and a focused routine. This hands-on role involves performing repeatable, task-driven work, steadily building expertise in specific machines and processes. You will play a key part in producing high-quality products, working within a team environment built on structure, harmony, and predictability, and growing into a trusted subject matter expert with promotional opportunities over time. This role is ideal for individuals who prefer a consistent, predictable workday with clear expectations, enjoy focused, active hands-on work, take pride in learning a craft, and like working within a structured team environment that values order, safety, and reliability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Ability to follow structured processes, routines, and instructions in a predictable production environment
• Basic math, measurement, and computer skills, including the ability to read a tape measure and use simple tools and gauges
• A detail-oriented, task-focused approach with the desire to learn a craft and build long-term expertise

Nice To Haves

• Prior manufacturing experience and/or experience operating material handling equipment such as overhead cranes or hoists

Responsibilities

• Operate process machinery and equipment (such as, CNC’s, Press Brakes, & Injection Presses) by following established work instructions, drawings, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Load, unload, and handle subcomponents and finished products using material handling tools and equipment.
• Inspect materials and parts for correct dimensions, materials, and finishes to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
• Complete accurate computer transactions and support production schedules through reliable, repeatable execution.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area while meeting safety, quality, and productivity standards.
