This position is responsible for all functions relating to operating the processing equipment used to manufacture aseptic beverage products as well as cleaning (CIP) and sanitizing. The role involves coordinating cleaning, sterilizing, and operating processing systems while maximizing product quality and departmental efficiency. It requires working with other departments to coordinate plant production, performing light maintenance, and completing work orders. The operator will be responsible for quality checks, troubleshooting operating difficulties, and understanding the continuous process flow of the aseptic system. The position also requires completing required paperwork, using a computer proficiently, performing quality and food safety checks, communicating production issues, and following all safety, food safety, quality procedures, and GMPs. A key responsibility is proper shift handoff and wearing all required PPE. The role emphasizes leadership and ownership of the department and job responsibilities.
