About The Position

ATI is hiring a Process Leader, Quality for our Lockport, NY facility. This role will be responsible for verifying compliance to a variety of customer and internal quality system requirements by performing detailed process and documentation audits. This is a great role for someone with a couple years of manufacturing or quality experience looking to grow their career! Requirements

  • Two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of quality control procedures, specifications, and customer quality requirements.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with internal and external customers at all levels.
  • Ability to accomplish goals with excellent judgment, motivation, and planning capabilities.
  • Must be detailed oriented, with good organizational skills, time management and prioritization skills as well as analytical / critical thinking skills.
  • Able to work independently and/or in a team environment as well as interact with management and supervisory personnel
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite - particularly Word, Excel, & Outlook - and willingness to learn additional internal programs / systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree in technical discipline.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 quality management system.
  • Experience with nickel-based melting process.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed audits on production records to Quality procedures.
  • Approve and release product in accordance with Quality procedures / requirements.
  • Manage and perform record retention functions in accordance with Quality and Customer requirements, including document filing as necessary.
  • Update internal quality documentation when necessary.
  • Review, audit and understand processing of fixed practices.
