About The Position

Philip Morris International (PMI) is seeking a Process Lead to join their new Manufacturing Plant in Aurora, Colorado. This role contributes to the efficiency and sustainability of production processes, supports the achievement of performance targets, and drives continuous improvement. The Process Lead will coordinate idea evaluation and implementation, identify and address training needs, analyze processes for improvement opportunities, and manage change through process specifications. They will also design and adapt processes for customer satisfaction in compliance with PMI standards and maintain management systems. PMI is undergoing a significant transformation with the purpose of delivering a smoke-free future. Requirements

  • Experience in continuous improvement roles with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or similar required.
  • Experience managing continuous improvement tools (root cause analysis, Pareto, fishbone, 8D, etc).
  • 3 or more years of work experience in manufacturing or similar.
  • Solid knowledge of statistics.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel) and SAP.
  • Manufacturing process knowledge, Production Planning, resources planning, and demand forecasting.
  • Fluent in English
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the efficiency and sustainability of the overall production processes and activities and support reporting the continuous achievement of department performance targets.
  • Run continuous improvement process, collect ideas, and prioritize process and system enhancements.
  • Coordinate ideas' evaluation and implementation with the process system owners in the central, regional, local & service provider' functions.
  • Identify Education and training (E&T) capability-building needs for today and the future and eliminate capability gaps by coordinating the provision of the required training.
  • Statistically analyze processes and losses, detecting opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and implement improvement plans based on what is detected.
  • Coordinate and execute tests of new technologies and materials, determining the course of action based on the results.
  • Be the point of contact with the region/global to incorporate and share improvement practices.
  • Manage change through the design, adequacy, and maintenance of process specifications.
  • Design, adapt, and structure processes for customer satisfaction in compliance with PMI standards.
  • Maintain management systems and comply with appropriate audits.
