About The Position

Lennar is seeking a Process Lead to bring clarity, consistency, and scale to how its technology teams plan, build, and deliver. The role leads cross-team efforts to map current processes across the software and product development lifecycles, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, and design solutions that can scale across the organization. The Process Lead does not own the standards; instead, the role gathers, aligns, documents, and measures them, partnering with teams through influence rather than authority. The position also tracks adoption and shares insights to support ongoing process improvement. The Process Lead partners with leaders across engineering, product, QA, design, architecture, security, and operations. Responsibilities include documenting standards and processes in a central source of truth, defining and reporting process and delivery metrics, and coordinating communication, training, and change management for process rollouts. The role facilitates alignment and decisions across teams, maintains a continuous-improvement feedback loop, and advises leadership on delivery practices, process maturity, and operational risk. Success is expected to include building relationships, mapping key processes, and agreeing on an improvement roadmap within the first 90 days; establishing documented standards and baseline metrics within six months; and achieving measurable improvements in consistency, efficiency, and adoption within the first year.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in process improvement, process design and documentation, program or project management, delivery management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience mapping and redesigning end-to-end processes in a software or technology delivery environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of SDLC/PDLC practices and Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence and build alignment across teams and leaders without direct authority.
  • Experience gathering, organizing, and governing standards across multiple teams or business units.
  • Skill in process mapping methods such as value stream mapping, swimlanes, SIPOC, and BPMN.
  • Experience defining KPIs and building reports or dashboards that track adherence and performance.
  • Excellent facilitation, written communication, and executive communication skills, including the ability to make complex processes simple.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, PMP, SAFe, CSM, or a process certification such as CBPP.
  • Change management training, such as Prosci.
  • Experience establishing a Delivery Excellence, PMO, or Engineering Operations function.
  • Experience in a large, multi-team enterprise environment.
  • Experience with GitHub, Claude, and Lucid, or comparable technologies.
  • SAFe experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional discovery to map current-state processes across all phases of the SDLC/PDLC, from intake and planning through build, test, release, and support.
  • Identify gaps, redundancies, bottlenecks, and inconsistencies, and design future-state processes that improve efficiency and scale across teams.
  • Partner with engineering, product, QA, design, architecture, security, and operations leaders to gather, reconcile, and formalize standards and best practices.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, including process maps, playbooks, RACI models, templates, and guides, in a central source of truth.
  • Define and report metrics measuring process adherence, maturity, and delivery efficiency, and turn data into actionable insights for leadership.
  • Plan and run rollouts of new or updated processes, including communication, training, and change management.
  • Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and governance forums that drive alignment and decisions across teams.
  • Build a continuous-improvement feedback loop by gathering team input, reviewing process performance, and refining processes over time.
  • Advise leadership on delivery practices, process maturity, and operational risk.
