About The Position

The Process Integration Release Lead will be a senior leader for the Innovative Medicine Transcend program, a multi-year global business transformation initiative. This program aims to modernize Johnson & Johnson's end-to-end Supply Chain foundational capabilities by harmonizing disparate ERP systems, standardizing core business processes and products across Plan, Source, Logistics, Make, Quality, Order Management, Supply Chain Finance, and Data, and enabling an integrated data strategy through a single SAP S/4 HANA instance. The role requires a deep personal motivation to advance healthcare through digital solutions, backed by self-learning and experience in Pharma Industry, Digitization, New Business Models, and Innovation Methods. The leader will be responsible for driving process and capability integration between Supply Chain functions to ensure solutions support end-to-end business processes across Design, Build, Test, and Go-Live. This includes owning the end-to-end functional integration for a specific Deployment Release, enabling and standardizing core business capabilities, and maximizing adherence to the Global Design Template. This will be achieved by partnering with key stakeholder groups to understand as-is business needs, benchmarking, continuous improvement, consistent process documentation, and product deployment. The individual must leverage business expertise, technical knowledge, and digital acumen to interact with value stream leads, business stakeholders, and global template owners, operating at both an execution and strategic level.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s / University degree, MBA, or equivalent degree is required.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated progressive experience in leadership roles within Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, or large transformation programs.
  • Solid experience in business process design, engineering, or optimization.
  • Hands-on project delivery experience, including demonstrated ability to handle project timelines and milestones in complex business environments.
  • Experience working in a complex, global system environment.
  • Experience with large-scale SAP S/4HANA projects.
  • Strong customer-centric focus (internal & external), including development and management of partners and ability to engage and build relationships with senior business stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively lead and govern cross-functional decision-making bodies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proven ability to influence/collaborate to get to desired results.
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively and professionally.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as PMP / FPX, APICS, and/or Lean/Six Sigma /Process Excellence are helpful.
  • Experience designing, developing, implementing, and leading operational technological processes within a global organization.
  • Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or other regulated industry experience.
  • People management and development experience (direct or indirect reports).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the Solution Confirmation phase for a given Release, ensuring clear functional scope definition, workshop structure, and resolution of significant design items.
  • Ensure key business processes and capabilities are designed, documented, and deployed in an integrated and effective manner within Release timelines and scope.
  • Lead the program team in mapping end-to-end business processes/needs to solicit the right solutions, ensuring these solutions integrate effectively with other functions.
  • Partner with global teams of Supply Chain, Order to Cash, and Finance experts in the design, development, maintenance, and improvement of global business processes and integration points.
  • Ensure program design artifacts (taxonomy, process flows, process scenarios, key design decisions, user requirements) are implemented and managed by functional Pillars consistently with program methodology, including relevant templates, tools, methodology, controls, and cadence.
  • Architect the best test strategy based on release scope and coordinate functional teams during the test preparation phase.
  • Partner with Release Deployment leadership to coordinate test phase execution.
  • Partner with the data standards team to ensure data standards meet business capability needs.
  • Support the business adoption team to ensure change management, business readiness, site readiness, and training are delivered to meet business needs.
  • Develop and deliver program presentations for senior-level J&J IM stakeholders to advise on historical and future program status.
