About The Position

The main purpose of this job is to deliver project and process improvements that increase efficiency and support organizational goals. This role involves managing projects from initiation through completion, including process improvement initiatives, while effectively managing multiple concurrent priorities. It ensures alignment with organizational goals, adherence to defined project methodologies, and achievement of delivery milestones. The role requires coordination with multiple cross-functional teams to implement solutions, align on scope and milestones, and drive results. It also involves analyzing operations and conducting strategic and process assessments to identify inefficiencies, control gaps, and redesign opportunities, as well as facilitating process mapping sessions and leading redesign efforts. Research and proposal of viability or enhancement for new ideas and opportunities are also key. Proactive management of risks and issues, development of mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with Risk, Control, and related guidelines are essential. Communication of progress and outcomes through regular updates, tailored reporting, and post-project evaluations to inform leadership and stakeholders is required. The role also includes designing and maintaining performance dashboards and operational reporting to monitor KPIs such as processing time, error rates, SLA compliance, and volumes, and monitoring the impact of implemented changes and recommending further refinements. Building relationships and mentoring others to strengthen project skills, influence decisions, and sustain change are also part of the responsibilities. The position is full-time and has a hybrid schedule, requiring 2 days per week in the office.

Requirements

  • Strong project/program management expertise, including waterfall/agile/hybrid methodologies, core PM tools, processes, and best practices
  • Ability to assess workflows, drive process improvements, and use performance metrics (KPIs/SLAs) with data visualization tools (e.g., Visio, Power BI)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and logic-based reasoning skills to evaluate options and recommend solutions
  • Strong ability to think strategically with executive presence and can provide thought leadership and leads through influence
  • Clear, effective communication skills at stakeholder interviews, relationship building, and gaining alignment across functions and business partners
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Skills and experience with reporting tools (Power BI, SQL, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Information Technology, Engineering, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 3+ years in business process improvement, process evaluation, project management or related experience required
  • 2+ years project management experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
  • Agile Practices Certification (CSM, Agile Practitioner, etc ) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred

Responsibilities
