About The Position

The Federal Employee Program (FEP) provides health benefits to federal employees, retirees, and their families. Through its longstanding partnership with the federal government, FEP offers nationwide coverage and access to a broad network of providers, with a focus on delivering quality, affordable care. The Process Improvement Manager Senior is responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement, developing and implementing best practice and continuous improvement initiatives for a business unit.

Requirements

Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 8 years process improvement experience with planning, project management, business analysis, and leadership role experience, including minimum of 3 years experience as a Process Improvement Manager level; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Nice To Haves

Prior FEP experience is strongly preferred.
Experience with Agile delivery methodology preferred.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal), especially with communicating with the various stakeholders highly preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills preferred.
Advanced MS Excel capabilities required (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement.
Researches, develops, and implements related best practices
Develops metrics to track performance and goal achievement.
Serves as internal consultant relative to continuous improvement initiatives.
Identifies and develops plans to improve performance to be incorporated enterprise wide.
Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.
