About The Position

The Manager, Process Improvement identifies and leads process improvement work that resolves systemic gaps, improves operational execution, and prevents recurring issues across Marketplace Risk Operations. This role manages Process Improvement requests through discovery, stakeholder engagement, process analysis, SOP updates and implementation support to ensure work is clearly scoped, prioritized, documented, and completed effectively. This role partners with cross- functional teams to align strategies, simplify processes, and drive operational efficiency. By fostering collaboration and continuous improvement, this position supports long-term business goals and delivers measurable results that enhance organizational performance and stakeholder engagement. About the team: The Process Improvement team supports Risk Operations by strengthening operational processes, optimizing workflows, and addressing systemic gaps. The team partners with Product, Business, Change Management and other teams to align stakeholders, improve documentation, support intake and prioritization, and drive consistent execution. Through process improvement and change initiatives, the team simplifies and sustains operations, improves efficiency, and delivers measurable business outcomes that support Risk Operations' strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in process improvement and change management to drive operational efficiency and sustainable solutions.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and mentoring associates.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and monitor process design, mapping, and management initiatives.
  • Proficiency in project management, including planning, executing, and delivering transformational change projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to secure alignment and buy-in across business units.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify gaps, and recommend actionable improvements aligned with business goals.
  • Knowledge of lean methodologies and industry best practices to support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, project/program management, information systems, communications, or related area and 3 years’ experience in process improvement, operations, program management, risk operations, compliance operations, or related area.
  • OR 5 years’ experience in process improvement, operations, program management, risk operations, compliance operations, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, reduce risk, and support business objectives.
  • Analyze processes to identify gaps, root causes, and opportunities for standardization and optimization.
  • Manage intake requests by conducting discovery, assessing urgency and impact, and executing required process or documentation updates.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to clarify process impacts, align stakeholders, resolve dependencies, and support informed decision-making.
  • Support implementation readiness for process updates by defining requirements, documentation needs, handoffs, and success measures.
  • Serve as a process subject matter expert by providing guidance on policies, tools, controls, and best practices.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of process changes, using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
