About The Position

Under general supervision, the Process Improvement Analyst II is responsible for leading and supporting cross-functional process improvement initiatives that drive efficiency, quality, and overall business performance. This role partners with business leaders and key stakeholders to identify gaps between current and desired outcomes, analyze processes, and implement sustainable solutions using data-driven methodologies such as Six Sigma.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 1 year of related experience in process improvement, operations, or a similar field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with knowledge of statistical methods and tools
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Access, and SQL
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and ability to evaluate business impact
  • Strong interpersonal and customer-facing skills with the ability to build relationships across functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead, influence, and motivate cross-functional teams

Nice To Haves

  • Six Sigma Yellow Belt or equivalent certification preferred
  • Exposure to continuous improvement tools such as DMAIC, 5S, 5 Whys, time study, and line balancing preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support cross-functional process improvement projects from initiation through implementation
  • Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Analyze current processes, workflows, and data to develop effective solutions
  • Design and implement process improvements that drive efficiency, quality, and cost savings
  • Facilitate project teams, ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely execution
  • Apply Six Sigma or similar methodologies to support continuous improvement efforts
  • Utilize data analytics and statistical tools to support analysis and decision-making
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and results to leadership and key stakeholders
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across the organization
  • Support and participate in Kaizen events
  • Support MDI initiatives and training
  • Participate in continuous improvement training events
