Requirements

  • Eight years in a previous process improvement role
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Subject Matter Expertise and the ability to provide mentorship, guidance and training to other team members

Responsibilities

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Stay updated with the latest Lean and Six Sigma trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Encourage the adoption of innovative approaches to enhance process performance.
  • Train and mentor Green Belts and other team members on Lean and Six Sigma principles and techniques.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions on Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Design and facilitate process management training for department leaders.
  • Serves in a consultative manner to senior leaders and other members of management in the areas of data analysis, process, and alignment.
  • Lead and manage process improvement projects from initiation to completion.
  • Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Track progress and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Manage change initiatives related to process improvements.
  • Address resistance and facilitate smooth transitions during process changes.
  • Ensure that changes are effectively communicated and implemented.
  • Comfortable influencing without formal authority.
  • The position has no direct reports but is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of assigned project teams.
