About The Position

The Process Engineering Technician will maintain and improve process capabilities using appropriate tools and applicable methodologies. This role involves inputting and analyzing numerical data to identify patterns and relationships for developing optimal workflows and processes. The technician will review Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring systems, use technology to achieve goals, and drive a continuous improvement culture. They will also support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment requirements. Additionally, the role includes supporting the creation of training documents, delivering training, and mentoring Apprentices and Technicians.

Requirements

  • Degree in Relevant Field; advanced degree preferred or compensating years of experience
  • Industry-relevant professional experience
  • Relevant certifications, system experience, and training
  • Professional-Level English language skills preferred
  • Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Anticipates, understands and meets internal/external customers’ needs and expectations. Develops solutions based on a customer centric approach.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and improves process capabilities using appropriate tools and applicable methodologies
  • Inputs and analyses numerical data to identify patterns and relationships that can be used to develop optimal workflows and processes
  • Reviews Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring systems and uses technology to achieve goals
  • Drives and champions a continuous improvement culture
  • Supports New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to prepare products or processes for launch
  • Ensures that all local, legal and Freudenberg requirements regarding Health, Safety, and Environment are fulfilled
  • Supports the creation of training documents and delivers training
  • Mentors Apprentices and Technicians to increase individual and team understanding and capability
