About The Position

This position will play a pivotal role in the Continuous Improvements Team to bridges the gap between engineering design and operational execution, ensuring that manufacturing processes are efficient, safe, and continuously improving. This position will report to the Engineering Manager.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of related experience and/or training preferred
Experience in automotive repairs, production, assembly, or manufacturing necessary
Ability to read and interpret prints, schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documents preferred
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail required
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and with little supervision
Must demonstrate good time management skills
Must possess strong planning, organizational and execution skills
Must have the ability to set goals and meet deadlines
Must possess excellent internal and external customer service skills
Must demonstrate ownership of assigned responsibilities and ability to get the job done correctly and in a timely manner
Must possess a proactive and positive team approach to problem resolution
Must have the ability to establish strong working relationships with co-workers and management
Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Nice To Haves

an associate degree in process technology, engineering, or related field is preferred.
Certification in automotive mechanical or electrical systems is a plus

Responsibilities

Analyzing labor resources and workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Assist in the build, installation and revisions of parts and materials as well as troubleshooting issues.
Collecting and interpreting production data to monitor performance and predict potential problems and complete root cause analysis
Maintaining detailed records of line performance, part and process modifications
Working closely with engineers, production associates & team leaders, and quality control teams to implement process efficiencies and improvements
Ensuring processes adhere to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality standards
