About The Position

Process Engineering Manager, Delivery Thermal constraints limit AI infrastructure, semiconductor equipment, power electronics, and defense systems. Alloy Enterprises removes those constraints. Enabled by the Stack Forging™ process, Alloy produces high-performance thermal components and cooling loop solutions — purpose-built for direct integration into AI, HPC, and mission-critical systems. Founded in 2020, Alloy has built the industry's leading thermal management platform for the applications that demand it most. This role generally requires 4 days onsite per week. As the Process Delivery Manager, you will lead engineering efforts to identify root causes, optimize processes, and help deliver high-performance, high-quality parts to Alloy’s customers ahead of schedule. This role is designed for a leader who is interested in managing a team while remaining a hands-on individual contributor. Your mission is to bridge the gap between engineering development and high-volume output, ensuring our unique manufacturing process scales seamlessly from prototype to mass production.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7–10+ years of professional experience, or a PhD with 5+ years of experience (commensurate with a Lead Engineer level).
  • Deep experience in mass-production environments and familiarity with manufacturing methods such as metal additive manufacturing, casting, machining, or brazing.
  • Previous hands-on experience with laser cutting, metallurgy, or surface chemistry.
  • Familiar with CAD (preferably Onshape), and proficiency with Python for data analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience managing engineering teams or leading significant engineering projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-performing team of Process Engineers, providing technical guidance and career development while maintaining a "hands-on" presence on the production floor.
  • Own the transition of parts to high-volume production, ensuring that components are designed and builds are optimized for throughput and cost.
  • Contribute across the process of Stack Forging, including laser cutting, metal-metal bonding, surface characterization/preparation, complex part geometry design, data and computational analysis, and material property optimization in the support of existing customer projects
  • Lead deep-dive investigations into issues, utilizing data and technical grit to identify root causes.
  • Act as the primary link between the production floor and the broader engineering organization to identify long-term improvements in testing and manufacturing capabilities.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and bonus
  • Paid vacation/holidays/sick time
  • Comprehensive benefits package including 401K, medical, dental, and vision care.
  • On-the-job/cross-training opportunities
