About The Position

Novelis in Warren, OH has an opportunity to participate in our on-site summer 2027 internship. The team is seeking a Process Engineering Intern that can join the team for approximately 12 weeks. The person in this role will have the opportunity to participate in relevant work and gain hands on industry experience. The person in this role will report to the Process Leader and work alongside with the Process Engineers, working on a project focused on customer centricity, quality, and/or process improvements, based on the plant’s needs and intern’s interests.

Requirements

Enrolled in an accredited 4-year University.
Must be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or recent Graduate.
Interested in gaining hands-on industry experience prior to graduation.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills which are essential for interacting with all levels of the organization
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer

Nice To Haves

Prefer students majoring in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, or related fields

Responsibilities

Take ownership of a project focused on quality, process improvement, or customer centricity, working with the Process Engineers for support
Support Process Engineers in cross-functional improvement projects
Learn about sustainability, quality, customer satisfaction and implement knowledge by sharing with operations
Work in multi-functional groups to support engineering, maintenance, reliability, and automations as we all support the needs of operations.
