About The Position

Qorvo's Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program. Qorvo offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full-time opportunities, as available. Qorvo’s Process Engineering Internships are offered in our Global Operations business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or related fields
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Semiconductor coursework and/or experience, including standard processing techniques (Package assembly) is preferred
• Experience with 3D printing, CAD tools, and SolidWorks
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Interest in "hands on" engineering work in a clean room facility
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.

Responsibilities

• One or more projects in the package assembly facility.
• Process troubleshooting and recipe optimization
• Data collection via various metrology tools
• Data analysis using software such as JMP, Spotfire, or Excel
• Experimental design and execution of a fab engineering trial
• Projects involving component/die assembly, process optimization and 5S continuous improvement
