Malibu TN Process Engineering Intern
About The Position
Malibu Boats is seeking a student for a 12-month Internship opportunity within their Process Engineering team. The student must live near or be willing to relocate within driving distance from the plant in Loudon, TN. This role offers the chance to assist in the generation, validation, and development of new production processes and innovations for Malibu Boats and Axis Wake products. The intern will collaborate with Malibu’s Safety, Quality, Production, and Design teams, reporting to Malibu’s Process Engineering Lead. Responsibilities will focus on building upon the student's engineering foundation and passion for the marine industry, challenging them to identify opportunities for safety improvements, quality enhancements, manufacturing process optimization, and the implementation of new designs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year towards a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, electrical, or related engineering field
- Microsoft Experience (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Strong skills with hand tools and mechanical devices required
Nice To Haves
- Computer design experience in CAD modeling (AutoCAD, Siemens NX, and Solidworks) preferred
Responsibilities
