About The Position

The Process Engineering Intern participates in the mechanical and process design and documentation of water and wastewater treatment systems. The role includes spending time in production to interview operators about their work and needs, taking detailed notes, and helping develop procedures for training. The intern documents the regeneration process, creates training materials, conducts initial training sessions with plant staff to validate accuracy, and establishes a foundation for ongoing knowledge management.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree program in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another related technical discipline.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good technical writing and oral communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team and department projects.
Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and safety procedures.

Responsibilities
