About The Position
Spartronics is seeking a Process Engineering Intern for Summer 2026. This full-time summer internship, with potential for part-time continuation in the fall, offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in advanced manufacturing. Requirements
- Currently pursuing an Engineering degree (Sophomore level or higher)
- Experience with 3D printing and resin printing
- Experience with CNC machining and tool pathing
- Experience with SolidWorks and tooling creation
- Experience with HSM Express and/or SolidWorks CAM
- Basic CAD drawing and GD&T knowledge
- Comfortable using basic hand tools
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to troubleshoot problems in a production environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR (U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents, Political Asylees, Refugees)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance

- 1–3 years of related experience through school projects, internships, labs, clubs, or work experience
Responsibilities
- Assist process and production engineers with designed experiments, failure analysis, process improvements, and process documentation and procedures.
- Assist with tooling setup and machine procedures.
- Design tooling in SolidWorks.
- Create tool paths for CNC machining and 3D/resin printing.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support defect resolution.
- Design and build jigs/fixtures for complex circuit card assemblies.
- Support asset management and labeling processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing performance.
