About The Position

Haskell’s Design & Consulting Team brings together architecture, engineering, and consulting professionals across industries and geographies. The team serves markets including food and beverage, consumer products, aviation and aerospace, civil infrastructure, healthcare, and Federal Government projects, using multiple project delivery methods such as design-build, engineer-procure-construct, fee-for-service, and consulting services.

The Summer 2027 Process Engineering Intern will assist multidisciplinary project teams with assigned tasks, with opportunities to develop professionally and personally. The intern will participate in training on company management tools, standards, policies, and procedures, and can network with other interns through scheduled workshops, events, and group projects focused on Haskell’s culture and values. The internship is offered in multiple locations and focuses on mechanical and chemical engineering disciplines.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program.
• Excellent organizational, communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CAD or Revit design software is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Improve understanding of how construction and design teams interact, particularly in mechanical design.
• Prepare and monitor documents, and work with a Process Engineer to prepare designs and resolve issues.
• Participate in discipline project strategy meetings and gain exposure to design concepts, pricing, and proposal techniques and requirements.
• Participate in design research and other activities as directed.
• Engage with other interns across the enterprise as part of the Summer Internship Program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
