Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a four-year or graduate program in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering or Physics.
- Good problem-solving track record.
- Ability to learn and develop expertise in new software applications specific to Microchip manufacturing, automation, and control systems.
- Basic programming skills required.
- Must be able to work in a clean room environment.
- Must be local to the area for the duration of the internship.
- Able to lift, push, pull approx. 50 lbs; carry 50 lbs; sit 5%; stand 60%; walk 35%.
Responsibilities
- Assist in process recipe creation and process tool optimization.
- Work with a process engineer to complete projects critical to production and quality goals.
- Work with minimal oversight and obtain quick meaningful progress independently.
