We are seeking a Process Engineering Group Leader to join our manufacturing site in West Alexandria, Ohio, a critical facility producing specialty adhesive solutions used in the automotive and industrial markets. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum of 6 years of technical engineering experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Understanding of automation and/or process control systems.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Ability to integrate equipment, process, and chemistry considerations to solve complex challenges.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency with standard computer applications and engineering tools.
Demonstrated initiative, leadership capability, and a results-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
Manufacturing experience in chemical, specialty materials, or related process industries.
Experience with Emerson DeltaV process control systems.
Lean Six Sigma certification or training (Yellow Belt, Green Belt, or Black Belt).
Experience using SAP, TrakSys, Power BI, or related business systems.
Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) elements, including: Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Process Safety Information (PSI), Management of Change (MOC), Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the site's technical team, including coaching and mentoring engineering and technical personnel.
Provide technical leadership supporting manufacturing operations, process controls, and product quality.
Partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Project teams to achieve business objectives.
Lead efforts to improve plant performance through continuous improvement initiatives.
Own and maintain site process technology, process control systems, and related equipment technologies.
Drive troubleshooting and root cause investigations to resolve quality, reliability, and production challenges.
Support the introduction and scale-up of new products and manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with R&D and technical subject matter experts to optimize production performance.
Support and lead small-to-medium capital projects from scope development through start-up and training.
Serve as a key resource for Process Safety Management (PSM), including ownership of process technology elements.
Communicate technical information effectively to plant personnel and business stakeholders.
Provide off-hours support for continuous manufacturing operations when needed.
Champion a strong safety culture by actively participating in environmental, health, and safety programs and reinforcing safe behaviors across the site.
