Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your industrial engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates. You'll play a key role in transforming electromechanical product designs into production-ready processes, ensuring manufacturability and efficiency on the shop floor. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (design engineering, quality assurance, and production teams), troubleshoot production issues to identify root causes, and support continuous improvement efforts through process validation and optimization, and much more.

Requirements

  • Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a closely related engineering discipline)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience related to electromechanical assemblies or similar assembly-line/manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of shop-floor manufacturing processes for electromechanical assemblies
  • Practical experience with process improvement and quality methodologies (e.g., PFMEA, root-cause analysis, QC methodologies, Lean/Six Sigma concepts desirable)
  • ERP experience as an end user (SAP preferred or similar systems) — materials management, routings, work order tracking
  • Ability to write clear work instructions and process documentation
  • Understanding of industrial/ergonomics and health & safety considerations in process and workstation design
  • Familiarity with CAD tools for reading/interpreting models and drawings

Responsibilities

  • Validating and qualifying manufacturing processes, including process validation, capability checks, and implementation support
  • Troubleshooting production issues on the line, identifying root causes, and coordinating corrective actions with engineering and production teams
  • Acting as the manufacturing/production-facing liaison to design engineering by communicating production constraints and providing feedback into product/assembly design
  • Creating and maintaining documentation related to manufacturing, such as BOMs, routings, work instructions, and change records
  • Supporting quality and continuous improvement efforts, including process FMEAs, QC checks, corrective actions, and process control
  • Using ERP systems (SAP or similar) as an end user to manage materials, routings, work orders, tracking, and configuration
  • Reviewing and interpreting CAD models and engineering drawings to inform manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Applying industrial/ergonomics and health & safety considerations to process and workstation design
