About The Position

Leonardo is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Process Engineer with strong abstract, logical, and analytical thinking skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people. The role develops procedures, processes, and concepts to simplify, optimize, or improve existing internal processes. It also involves developing and delivering training or coaching programs for process operators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
• Strong skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Highly organized and self-starting, with the ability to manage strict and challenging time demands.
• Ability to communicate complex processes effectively to diverse audiences, verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

• Focus on process improvement in the degree program.
• Three or more years of experience in an aviation quality, production, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience navigating production, configuration, and design systems such as SAP.

Responsibilities

• Analyze workflows, processes, and procedures within and across departments to identify process gaps and develop resolution plans.
• Execute, collaborate on, and support cross-functional projects to identify and resolve departmental and interdepartmental process gaps.
• Design and deliver training programs to promote employee understanding and adoption of new processes.
• Develop and document clear, concise, standardized procedures, work instructions, and training materials.
• Develop and implement data-driven solutions to support informed decision-making throughout the organization.
