Process Engineer
About The Position
Ovivo Pure Water+, an Ecolab company, is seeking a Process Engineer to join its Operations & Maintenance team. The role provides technical expertise and support on process-related topics to help ensure optimal performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of ultra-pure water (UPW) systems. The engineer works with engineers, technicians, and innovation teams to maintain water quality and operational efficiency and contribute to water-treatment solutions. The position is onsite at a customer account in Chandler, Arizona. Travel may be required on a case-by-case basis to support projects, troubleshooting, or training at other sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related qualified training from an accredited university, plus up to three years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve ultra-pure water processes to enhance efficiency, reliability, and compliance with quality standards.
- Provide advanced technical support for process-related issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Prepare, maintain, and update process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Develop and maintain process specifications, P&IDs, mass balances, sequences of operation, and functional logic for water treatment systems.
- Partner with automation, commissioning, and innovation teams on system upgrades, modifications, and new technology implementation.
- Provide technical support to sales and procurement teams as needed.
- Support Operations & Maintenance engineers and technicians through process-related training and knowledge sharing.
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
