About The Position

The Process Engineer provides engineering technical support to designated production departments, using technical expertise to ensure smooth process operations. The role evaluates, develops, and implements technical strategies that support those departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or a related discipline.
• Five years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.

Nice To Haves

• Lean Manufacturing Certification.
• SAP experience.
• Previous experience working in a food manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), troubleshooting guides, and training materials.
• Create, develop, and lead department-specific capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects.
• Identify opportunities aligned with business goals and provide input and direction on day-to-day operations.
• Work daily with operators and supervisors to support plant operations using Short Interval Controls (SIC) and help troubleshoot problems.
• Support long-term optimization and problem solving by initiating and supporting area improvement projects.
• Assist with shutdown planning and help the Maintenance and Reliability Coordinator define shutdown scope.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
