Job Summary Process Engineer We are looking for an innovative Process Engineer who can improve our Denton, TX factory performance using Continuous Improvement methodologies and tools. You are an expert on various Continuous Improvement methodologies and advanced tools used for complex problem solving, so that you can help train and develop others and facilitate the use. As part of your job, you will collect and analyze process data and loss intelligence, solve complex technical issues, and put in place process loss prevention systems. You will lead key improvement teams, serve as a link between production process cells, Continuous Improvement pillars, & improvement teams. This position is based in Denton, TX . Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Masters Degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ experience. Engineering or quality assurance experience with background in a manufacturing environment. Masters degree can substitue for experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP R3, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint; ideally knowledge in Minitab and MS Project.
  • Good Project Management and Presentation Skills.
  • People Skills, good communication skills, experience training/coaching others

Nice To Haves

  • Process Kaizen Engineer or 6 Sigma Certification highly preferred.
  • E-Business/Internet Experience, Process/Complete Supply Chain Knowledge, WCM Methodology.

Responsibilities

  • Serve on the daily management cell team as a resource providing data and loss intelligence; use methods and tools to reduce process waste, improve productivity, and improve production efficiencies (i.e. reduction of set up time, speed losses, and short stops).
  • Use advanced tools, lead high performing World Class Manufacturing (WCM) teams as deployed by pillars; develop and implement improvement activities and maintain loss prevention systems based on factory priorities.
  • Act as a direct resource for teams; auditing and working directly with teams, provide feedback and guidance to teams, develop the team members in the tools and methodologies.
  • Work as member or leader of one or more WCM pillars providing loss intelligence, loss prevention systems, and deployments of teams and activities.
  • Develop and industrialize new processes and equipment.
  • Lead or participate in new product introduction and support process changes.
  • Provide communication of key priorities, projects and activities between cells, pillars, and teams.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
