Let’s Work Wonders ® We are looking for a Process Engineer to support our engineering team in Greensboro, NC. This role will report into the Engineering Manager and will support the Industrial Solutions business primarily.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. Three or more years experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
  • Analytical and conceptual skills to think and plan strategically.
  • Desire to aggressively learn about a wide range of topics and adapt to the changing needs of the plant.
  • Comfort with computerized tools and basic computer programming.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze process data, determine root causes for process issues, and make changes that drive improvement for KPIs such as cycle time and yield.
  • Support production and maintenance teams by troubleshooting day-to-day operational issues both in office and in the plant.
  • Develop and maintain plant operating procedures, including in a digital batch management system.
  • Complete engineering-focused projects, including defining scope, developing proposals, process/equipment selection and design, equipment and infrastructure installation, equipment start-up, operator training, machine/computer programming and preparation of project documentation.
  • Actively participate in corporate and facility safety, environmental, security, cost savings and quality improvement programs.
