Join our team in Tucson, AZ, and bring your manufacturing process engineering expertise to an on-site role where you will help improve fine wire production, strengthen process performance, and contribute to medical innovations that matter. As a Process Engineer you will play a critical role in supporting, improving, and implementing manufacturing processes for fine wire production. Working closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams, you will help drive process stability, product quality, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in process engineering or manufacturing engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Strong foundation in metallurgical and mechanical principles, including wire drawing, annealing, and surface treatment processes
  • Comfortable analyzing production data, identifying trends, and implementing improvements that strengthen safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
  • Experience with ERP and MES systems, process monitoring tools, and manufacturing metrics
  • Problem-solver who values innovation and expertise
  • Mindset of continuous learning and practical improvement

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to support safe, efficient, and repeatable fine wire production.
  • Monitor and improve process capability, equipment performance, and product quality using data analysis and process control methodologies.
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions for process deviations, customer concerns, and production challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap, increase yield, improve throughput, and enhance overall equipment effectiveness.
  • Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and R&D to introduce new products, materials, equipment, and manufacturing technologies.
  • Establish and maintain manufacturing documentation, including process specifications, work instructions, control plans, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide technical support for day-to-day manufacturing operations and support equipment qualifications, process validations, and production readiness for new or modified processes.
