This is a second shift position working a 4/10 schedule Monday through Thursday! NOTE: employee will have flexibility to choose a schedule that could start between 12 pm and 2 pm. BAE Systems is looking for a hands on Process Engineer to be a contributor in our EWIMC factory for second shift. They will be someone who can influence the team within the factory as well as the Integrated Product team outside of the factory. The individual will work in both office spaces and production environment supporting the factory full time onsite. As a Process Engineer you will make impacts in the following ways; Maintaining the stability of a Production Line while continuously driving improvements, manufacturability, and driving root cause analysis. Partner with suppliers and design teams to assure designs are producible and maintainable. Driving manufacturing process improvements, production problem resolutions, and integrating solutions into a lean manufacturing environment. Collaborating with other functions is crucial to success, some of these functions include: supply chain, quality, program office, and new product introduction (NPI) engineering as well as the test product engineering team. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site (on second shift). This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Entry level process engineer role
  • Strong communication and problem solving capabilities.
  • Ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to independently manage many tasks in parallel

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline is desired
  • Experience with AS9100 and AS9145 standards is a plus.
