About The Position
As our intern, you will be involved with Corning’s Environmental Technologies (CET) segment which manufactures ceramic substrates and filter products for emissions control in mobile and stationary applications around the world. Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate Level Engineering program; preference for Material Science, Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis
- Working knowledge or experience with design of experiments (DOE) concepts
- Must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2027 (May-August 2027) with a graduation date of December 2027 or later
- Be interested in working for Corning, Inc after graduation, if presented with a full-time job opportunity.
- Be willing to work at the posted job location

Nice To Haves
- Understanding or experience with ceramic pastes
- Basic understanding of ceramic extrusion
- Experience with Six Sigma DMAIC or similar principles
