About The Position
Process Engineer Intern will support the Operations in tracking the flow of the material through the Huntsville Performance Center. Ducommun is a global provider of innovative manufacturing solutions for customers in the aerospace, defense and industrial markets. We specialize in electronic and structural systems, producing complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications. Our Facility in Huntsville, AR manufactures state-of-the-art circuit boards for Aerospace and Defense.
Requirements
- Candidates must be a junior or senior in an engineering program
- Able to work effectively within a team environment and across functional groups
- Ability to compose routine reports and correspondence
- Multi task, good decision making, self-motivated, and problem solve
- Must be computer literate, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Understanding of engineering principles required
- Must be a US Person

Responsibilities
- Mapping workflow of products
- Establishing daily status of Work In Progress (WIP)
- Communicate status of product cross functionally to include Operations, Program Management, Test, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain
- Creation of Excel tools to support the communication of WIP
- Improve productivity by performing ergonomic evaluations, time studies, and line balancing as requested.
- Assist in other tasks as needed.
