Requirements

No experience required.
Current enrollment in ABET accredited university in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering program.
All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Prior internship experience in water/wastewater preferred.
Wastewater treatment engineering / design, chemical/physical principles, water chemistry courses preferred.
Experience in P&ID/PFD preferred.
Learning on the Fly, Problem Solving, Intellectual Horsepower, Written Communications, Drive For Results, Informing, Listening, and Dealing with Ambiguity

Responsibilities

Support the planning, design, evaluation, and optimization of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment systems, including biosolids and residuals management, nutrient removal, sludge and sidestream treatment, advanced treatment technologies, and emerging contaminant management (PFAS, microplastics, etc)
Perform variety of tasks to support engineering analyses, report production, and designs
Prepare basic calculations
Assist in basic equipment selection
Schedule project deliverables
Collect, organize, and evaluate data
