About The Position

The Process Engineer II will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to process improvement, equipment upgrades, process development, and manufacturing operations. This role involves developing and reviewing process documentation, supporting construction and commissioning, and troubleshooting production issues. The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and proficiency in relevant software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Process, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of process, manufacturing, or project engineering experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with process improvement, equipment upgrades, process development, or manufacturing operations.
  • Ability to develop and review process documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, and equipment specifications.
  • Experience supporting construction, commissioning, startup, production troubleshooting, or field activities.
  • Strong data analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to present statistical data to cross functional teams by using software and appropriate tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and statistical-analysis software, such as JMP.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with process-design or project-management tools, such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, AutoCAD Plant 3D, MATLAB, Microsoft Project, or Primavera.
  • Knowledge of process equipment, instrumentation, automation, PLC, SCADA, DCS, and control systems.
  • Familiarity with process-safety methods, including HAZOP, What-If, PHA, LOPA, FMEA, and Management of Change.
  • Knowledge of applicable standards and regulations, including OSHA, NFPA, ASME, API, ISA, EPA, GMP, FDA, or ISO.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, PE, or EIT certification.
