About The Position

The Process Engineer II will develop and execute process technology strategies that align with the product line roadmaps. This engineer will lead in efforts involving concurrent design for manufacturability and bring new and alternative process technologies to the organization.

  • Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and troubleshoot production problems across multiple manufacturing areas.
  • Serve as the first line of production support, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and electrical/mechanical evaluations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead design-for-manufacturability efforts and collaborate with design teams.
  • Introduce new or alternative process technologies.
  • Plan and conduct experiments, including data analysis and documentation.
  • Support customer delivery commitments through timely communication and problem resolution.
  • Provide material disposition per standard procedures.
  • Develop, document, maintain, and standardize production floor processes.
  • Lead teams to meet customer quality and delivery requirements.
  • Identify and resolve manufacturing problems using engineering methodology, data collection, and statistical analysis.
  • Lead capital and automation projects, including equipment selection, procurement justification, and implementation.
  • Review product requirements with design staff to ensure processing compatibility.
  • Interact with equipment manufacturers and facilities personnel for upgrades, PMs, and repairs.
  • Assist with installation and removal of equipment, layout, facilities planning, and startup validations.
  • Program equipment and train personnel.
  • Assist in production processing as needed.
  • Perform other duties assigned by leadership.
