About The Position

Gotion Inc. is hiring an early-career Process Engineer to support the Pack & Module Manufacturing team in a high-volume battery manufacturing environment. The role supports manufacturing process optimization, production operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. It is suited to a recent engineering graduate or early-career professional seeking hands-on experience in advanced manufacturing.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
0–2 years of engineering experience; internships, co-ops, and academic projects are acceptable.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and support production operations.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in lithium-ion battery, automotive, advanced manufacturing, or related industries.
Understanding of battery pack and module manufacturing processes.
Experience with automated assembly equipment and production systems.
Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification.
Experience working in a fast-paced startup or high-growth manufacturing environment.
Internship or project experience in manufacturing.
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement.
Familiarity with battery, automotive, automation, or high-volume manufacturing processes.
Experience using Excel and analyzing data.

Responsibilities

Support daily production and manufacturing operations.
Assist with process troubleshooting and problem-solving activities.
Collect and analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities.
Support equipment installation, testing, and production ramp-up activities.
Create and maintain process documentation and work instructions.
Participate in continuous improvement projects related to quality, yield, and productivity.
Work closely with Production, Quality, and Equipment Engineering teams.
