An equipment engineer is the doctor of equipments who is in charge of maintenance, warm-up and trouble-shooting for Equipments of each module to improve the operation efficiency. An equipment engineer also plans and executes projects of analysis and defect detection.

Requirements

  • BS or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Physics or Material Science.
  • At least 5+ year’s ETCH process experience working in a high-volume manufacturing semiconductor Fab.
  • Understanding of principle of ETCH process knowledge, and it is a plus for equipment knowledge and/or integration knowledge (Perferred).
  • Strong data analysis capability includes commonality check and DOE (Perferred).
  • Multi-tasking and project management skills to balance and follow-thru with many tasks at once meeting deadlines and executing plans (Perferred).
  • Work with Manufacturing, Equipment and other function team to achieve quality and capacity goals (Perferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Initiative-driven with adaptable priorities and responsibilities to support business needs.
  • Team player with leadership skills, able to multitask in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Goal-driven with experience in high-performing team cultures.
  • Quick to assimilate new technology.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting complex problems and addressing root causes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis using SPC, Real-time monitoring methods, and additional sources to monitor and maintain the performance of the process.
  • Cross work with other function team for new technology transfer, process development, and problem-solving activities.
  • Need commit the flexible personal time, once, fab business goal needed as abnormal event handling, meeting with TSMC in the Asia time zone, and etc.
