An equipment engineer is the doctor of equipments who is in charge of maintenance, warm-up and trouble-shooting for Equipments of each module to improve the operation efficiency. An equipment engineer also plans and executes projects of analysis and defect detection.

Requirements

BS or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Physics or Material Science.
At least 5+ year’s ETCH process experience working in a high-volume manufacturing semiconductor Fab.
Understanding of principle of ETCH process knowledge, and it is a plus for equipment knowledge and/or integration knowledge (Perferred).
Strong data analysis capability includes commonality check and DOE (Perferred).
Multi-tasking and project management skills to balance and follow-thru with many tasks at once meeting deadlines and executing plans (Perferred).
Work with Manufacturing, Equipment and other function team to achieve quality and capacity goals (Perferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
Initiative-driven with adaptable priorities and responsibilities to support business needs.
Team player with leadership skills, able to multitask in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Goal-driven with experience in high-performing team cultures.
Quick to assimilate new technology.
Skilled in troubleshooting complex problems and addressing root causes.

Responsibilities

Perform data analysis using SPC, Real-time monitoring methods, and additional sources to monitor and maintain the performance of the process.
Cross work with other function team for new technology transfer, process development, and problem-solving activities.
Need commit the flexible personal time, once, fab business goal needed as abnormal event handling, meeting with TSMC in the Asia time zone, and etc.
