We are currently recruiting for a Chemical Process Technician. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based in Kingston, Ontario. We are looking for a Chemical Process Technician with a chemistry, chemical engineering technology, chemical processing, or related technical background and strong hands-on experience in chemical process development. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys building and operating equipment, executing experiments, troubleshooting process setups, and working directly in laboratory, pilot plant, and manufacturing environments. The position involves the development and piloting of novel chemical processes, supporting technology transfer through to commercialization, and potentially small-lot manufacturing at Qnity Electronics (formerly DuPont) Kingston Research Facility. The ideal applicant will have demonstrated communication and prioritization skills, a strong safety mindset, and practical experience in one or more of the following areas: chemical process development, laboratory and small-scale pilot process design/build/operation, experimental execution, manufacturing operations, process troubleshooting, and scale-up from bench-scale concepts to larger pilot plant systems. The ideal applicant will bring a practical, hands-on technical foundation aligned with skills developed through Chemical Engineering Technician, Chemical Engineering Technology, Chemical Processing, Chemical Laboratory Technology, or related college programs. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with tools, equipment, instrumentation, process documentation, and digital systems used to plan, execute, record, and communicate technical work. As project work evolves, flexibility will be required, including willingness to take on different assignments and adapt work schedules when needed; short periods of shiftwork may be required.
