About The Position

This role involves preparing offshore installation method sketches, rigging & Seafastening drawings. The designer will create concise models using AutoCAD, Inventor or Civil 3D to aid in the development of concepts. They will produce accurate drawings and sketches, coordinate design criteria with Engineering teams, and adhere to Subsea7 GOM Drafting, ASME, and ISO standards. The position requires interfacing with other disciplines to gather design input, coordinate deliverables, and develop clash-free designs and drawings. The designer will also assist in identifying technical problems and contributing to solutions, and interface with the Drafting Team to ensure the Drafting deliverable schedule is met.

Requirements

• Associate degree or Certification in Drafting and Design and /or 6+ years of experience in relevant field
• Proficient in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD.
• Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage time accordingly.
• Detail oriented to ensure consistent quality of drawings & documentation.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, concurrent/multitasking fast paced environment
• Ability to work within time and budget constraints.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of Inventor or Civil 3D is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
