About The Position

Capital Group’s Enterprise Change Office (ECO) is made up of 140+ dedicated initiative delivery and practice experts that lead initiatives by business domain including Product, Sales and Marketing, Global Business Services, Investment Operations, and Information Technology. As a Process Design & Optimization (PD&O) Delivery Lead, you will contribute to the delivery of our business transformation programs. You will independently lead strategic, high complexity PD&O efforts through the full life cycle with guidance from senior management across Capital Group to increase scale and efficiency. Through your knowledge of transformation leadership and process optimization you will drive scale in Capital’s key operational processes. You will manage and develop process optimization resources to build new capabilities and capacity for the PD&O practice. You are a trusted leader and talented communicator to key customers and stakeholders. You drive decision-making through your ability to manage and align stakeholder expectations. You maximize value by developing and facilitating a consultative engagement approach to your initiatives, including benefits realization, governance structures, change management, and ECO practice engagement. Please note, this role does require you to work in office four days a week at our Los Angeles, CA or Charlotte, NC location, with the flexibility to work from home on Fridays.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of management consulting or transformation leadership experience and/or 15+ years of experience in business analysis, end-to-end process design/re-engineering/optimization for large, complex initiatives, or implementing workflow solutions and robotic process automation.
  • Strategic leader who can develop and deliver clear strategies for transformation, including scope definition, prioritizing / sequencing outcomes and objectives, setting effective success measures, and establishing work approach with problem-solving techniques.
  • At least 5 years of people management experience and demonstrated proficiency in leading senior practitioners, including development of associates’ skills and capabilities.
  • Leverage problem-solving expertise and influence to unlock measurable business results AND shift key operational ways of working.
  • Experience leveraging Change Management best practices to deliver solutions in partnership with project and business teams.
  • Experience working in agile environments.
  • Strong, collaborative, critical thinker with demonstrated ability to analyze challenges and develop thoughtful recommendations and compelling visual and written content.
  • Expert communicator and facilitator who places a high value on being authentic, respectful and engaging varying audiences.
  • Deep curiosity with technology as demonstrated through project / transformation experience alongside technology teams.
  • Skilled at establishing, nurturing and growing working relationships with clients, team members and shared services upon which you rely.
  • Proficient with AI tools and have experience incorporating them into day-to-day work.
  • Solid understanding of the asset management industry with several years of experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, driver, self-directed, and focused on delivering tangible value to the business.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep understanding of key process transformation frameworks and can adapt appropriately to meet business needs.
  • Applied experience working with Human Centered Design and/or other Design Thinking frameworks to cultivate innovation and deepen impact solving human-centric problems.
  • Working knowledge of process improvement principles and best practices, as acquired through a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt accreditation.
  • Experience applying business process management frameworks to promote end-to-end process management.
  • Recent experience leading Procurement related transformations.
