Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Electrical Maintenance
  • 4+ years experience as a Process Controls Specialist.
  • 20 years experience as Development Analyst.
  • Electrical / electrician experience in the bearing or steel business.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Leading or assisting numerous projects with minimal direction in the planning, designing and development of new process control systems. These systems should provide for control of the process such that current operating practices of the plant can be maintained at leading edge levels and provide opportunity for improvement beyond this in the future.
  • Recommend and apply process control technology knowledge to the continuous improvement of plant operations.
  • Provide technical support and expertise in the area of process control and computer systems and act as an internal technical consultant on manufacturing projects.
  • Maintain a working relationship with operations management and maintenance such that an ability to direct and coordinate projects is maintained and schedules are meet. This includes working with engineers, electrical and mechanical maintainers, and outside vendors.
