About The Position

Participate in new program implementation and execution including SOR prep, forecasting, controls design, equipment builds and run-off and buyoff. Design, construction, integration, plant installation, successful launch and continuous improvement of equipment and tools required in plants for the production of high-quality parts. Manage deliveries to program timing milestones working with multiple suppliers. Provide project report outs to senior management. Participate in existing program and site support including troubleshooting. Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with all customers and plants. Provide technical direction to less experienced controls engineers and suppliers. Design and troubleshoot electrical controls systems. Work on development and testing of advanced process technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study
  • Five (5) years of experience as an Automotive Engineer, Controls Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or related role.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Engineering in a manufacturing environment
  • Five (5) years of experience with PLC, Siemens, and Allen-Bradley
  • Five (5) years of experience with Controls concepts involving machine designs, and process requirements involved in the manufacturing process
  • Five (5) years of experience with PLC and HMI programming including Ethernet and Devicenet networks
  • Five (5) years of experience with Servo motors, motion control, and drives
  • Five (5) years of experience with Fanuc robots including design integration
  • Five (5) years of experience Designing and troubleshooting electrical controls systems
  • Five (5) years of experience with Project management.
