Specialist, Process Control (2nd shift)
About The Position
The Process Control Specialist is responsible for monitoring the production shipping status and managing plan & actual, downtime (HMGMA / MSV). This role involves constant monitoring of HMGMA and Mobis productivity and shipping screens, as well as the Mobis shipping system, requiring communication with HMGMA CCR within 24 hours. The specialist will manage Mobis production orders (Non JIS orders), gather HMGMA daily, weekly, and monthly plans, and generate/send Mobis’ daily production and shipping plans to appropriate departments. A key responsibility is to monitor daily production in real time to ensure targets are met (plan & Actual), track external and internal downtime requests, and provide countermeasures to prevent future downtime. The role also includes issuing claims for vendor downtime and completing accounting documents for payments, as well as operating the Mobis monitoring room, tracking productivity issues, and reporting findings. All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- 0 to 3 years of experience in Just In Sequence in the Automotive industry preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or related field
- Equivalent related experience in automotive manufacturing or production planning
Responsibilities
- Constantly monitor HMGMA and Mobis productivity and shipping screens, as well as the Mobis shipping system (Communication with HMGMA CCR: 24Hr)
- Managing Mobis production order (Non JIS order)
- Gather HMGMA daily, weekly, and monthly plans; generate and send Mobis’ daily production and shipping plans to appropriate departments
- Monitor daily production in real time to ensure that targets are met (plan & Actual)
- Track external and internal downtime requests and provide countermeasures to prevent future downtime
- Issue claims for vendor downtime and complete accounting documents to ensure payments are debited
- Operate Mobis monitoring room & tracking productivity issue and report
