Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, OR Master’s degree with more than 2 years of relevant experience, OR Phd with some years of experience, OR Associate's degree with 8 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience with operations management consulting methodologies and frameworks
  • Proven business acumen with experience in managing projects, teams, programs, or workstreams of varying levels of complexity
  • Ability to translate and present data visualization into actionable business decisions
  • Basic understanding of finance and good working knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proficiency in Change Management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of industry knowledge of a regulated manufacturing operations.
  • Working knowledge of lean six sigma principles and an ability to translate them into practical solutions to help drive CI.
  • Knowledge of Local Environmental, Health and Safety standards.
  • Knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements.
  • Moderate repetitive standing, sitting, bending, ladder climbing, pushing and lifting (up to 40lbs) required on a daily basis.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and learn new processes/systems.
  • Non-Standard work schedule, travel or environment requirements Monday to Friday.
  • Aseptic gowning required on production floor.
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and continually improve business standards (IMEx) to create an environment that is change agile, culture of continuous improvement, and learning at all levels.
  • Work in partnership with team members and accountable for performance in the dimensions of safety, quality, supply, financials, and people.
  • Coach and support team in business process (IMEx).
  • Manage and provide leadership for Continuous Improvement (CI) Specialist.
  • Manage escalation and cascade process between the tiered levels and shifts.
  • Manage multiple projects and ongoing work activities in the department including cross functional representatives to ensure delivery of CI goals.
  • Actively share knowledge with others across assets through existing knowledge sharing processes/systems.
  • Identify and makes improvements to existing work processes/products within and across assets.
  • Make decisions with autonomy and escalates decisions when there is significant impact on department.
  • Solve more complex problems with area of expertise or cross-functional teams outside immediate area of expertise.
  • Encourage participation and perspective of all team members.
  • Effectively listen to and explains difficult issues to reach shared understanding and building alignment.
  • Build alignment across manufacturing assets.
  • Articulate challenges and solutions to technical and non-technical peers and to department management.
  • Provide technical guidance and act as a department liaison with supports groups.
  • Motivate indirect reports to ensure the function works cross-functionally across shifts.
