  • At least one year of experience designing and maintaining professional-grade dashboards in Power BI that pull from multiple data sources (e.g., SharePoint, SQL, or Excel)
  • At least one year of experience working directly with business users to observe and "extract" process steps and requirements in environments where workflows may not yet be formalized.
  • At least one year of experience supporting structured data ingestion or automation workflow.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
  • Strong business and digital acumen.
  • Strong proven problem-solving abilities, judgment and tact.

  • Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling (e.g., Dataverse, SQL) and familiarity with using APIs or Connectors to link different systems.
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript, or Python to extend the capabilities of the Power Platform when "out of the box" solutions reach their limit
  • Ability to "read between the lines" and build rapport with team members to understand how they work
  • A natural curiosity for fixing broken processes and an "efficiency-first" mindset.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and can work from any location within Canada.

  • Translate front-line operational needs into technical requirements, creating functional logic and data workflows for new solutions.
  • Evaluate incoming business automation requests against IT standards to determine technical feasibility, licensing costs, and long-term maintainability before development begins.
  • Develop prototypes and "Proof of Concept" solutions to help teams visualize and refine new ways of working in real-time.
  • Build and deploy high-impact automations using Power Automate to streamline cross-departmental tasks and reduce administrative workload.
  • Design custom Power Apps that centralize data entry and provide a structured, user-friendly interface for various business activities.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide immediate visibility into operational performance and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Partner with the Process Documentation Specialist to ensure that all automated solutions are reflected in company standards and that technical builds reinforce established organizational logic.

  • Act as a technical resource for teams during the adoption of new tools, ensuring smooth transitions and providing the necessary technical guidance for long-term success.
  • Regularly audit and optimize existing automations to ensure they remain high-performing and continue to meet the evolving needs of the infrastructure and projects team.
  • Maintain the integrity of the Power Platform environment by following best practices for data security, naming conventions, and version control.
  • Act as Tier 3 technical support for complex Power Platform failures, establishing formal escalation paths from the standard IT Service Desk.
  • Lead interactive user demos and training sessions, while maintaining the supporting documentation for all new tools and automations.
